Contents are sealed in original wrappers. Some of the tissue paper wrappers have begun to deteriorate from age but still are wrapped around each item. The metal box itself is also showing its age with scratches and stains. We suspect this metal first aid kit was always in a visible spot in the coal Mines and over time became pretty soiled with coal dust. We did not attempt to clean it.
