Description: For sale is an original antique real-photo postcard of a large group of students at Union Christian College in Merom, Indiana. The sender, named write a long message to Mrs. Anna Mangrum in Fort Branch, Indiana. The postcard is postmarked December, 8, 1911. It is in very good condition, with minor creasing, a bumped corner and two names written in pencil on the front. Union Christian College was one of the first coeducational colleges that allowed women to take any class that a man could take. It closed its doors in 1924. See my listings for other vintage items.
