Description: Up for sale is a 1909 Maine porcelain license plate. This plate features the number 4075 and white on red coloring. It was created and fired in June of 1909. Maine used this style of license plate from 1905 through 1911. This plate would be a great start to a porcelain license plate collection or on a wall as decor in a garage. Condition:This plate does have a few spots of restored chips. It is in good vintage condition, and does show wear and character from use on a vehicle and storage over the years. Most notably, there are three chips in the field, one in the "N" of MAINE, and along some of the edges, all of which have been touch up. None of these appear to be holes as they don't go through the back (see photo of back). This plate still displays well. ALPCA #12669. Feel free to message with any questions.
