This issue is 16 pages including the covers measuring about 16.25" x 11.25". This issue is noteworthy since it contains a featured article illustrated with photos on the front cover about seal hunting in Labrador titled Seal Hunting On The Ice Floes Of The North by Allen Day. This article has several photos and detailed reports on how seals were harvested in the early 20th century. Other content includes an article with illustrations on French aviaiton pioneer Ferdinand Feber titled Capt. Ferber's Aeroplane Experiments. Other articles feature the Carnegie Technical Schools in Pittsburg and the North Carolina-Virginia Inland Waterway and lots more. Scientific American was a leading science and technology publication of the 19th century which is still in print today. Each issue is a large over sized format richly illustrated with numerous photos and engravings. These issues are original antiques published well over 100 years ago. There will typically be some toning of the paper from age as well as a few small nicks or chips on the edges but these issues are all 100% complete, solidly intact and in good to very good shape overall. This issue has a modest trace of staining visible on one corner on some pages.
