Herbert, early 20th century Midwest American school, watercolor on heavy textured paper, 6 1/4" by 9 3/4", signed lower right, previous owner name/framing date verso, under Museum glass in period polychrome frame with newer coved liner, 10 3/8" by 13 3/8". Original framer/retailer label from The Burrows Brothers Co., Cleveland Ohio, book publisher/stationery/office supplier, attached verso. Unable to locate listing for artist, perhaps am misreading signature. Condition excellent for age with slight toning, mostly at edges of paper, frame with age-related lightly distressed finish.
