Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Offered is a very nice clean pocket map of Arkansas from 1906. Rand McNally offered two different types of pocket maps during this era. Vest Pocket Maps and Indexed maps. The indexed maps came with an index booklet along with the map. They originally cost 25 cents. The pocket maps were just that. A map with no separate index. They cost 15 cents. This is an indexed map. It unfolds to 21” x 28”. The map portion is colored with the different counties in various colors. The back side is plain white with half blank and the other half with indexing of counties, creeks, reservations, lakes, military posts, mountains, rivers, and towns. Aside from becoming separated from the outer sleeve, the actual map is very good. It does have a few small splits along the folds, but is clean and bright. Some brown sleeve residue on one area.
