Description: 1901-S Barber Half Dollar, Semi Key Date, Very Fine. Type Two Obverse hub, which Lawrence stated was about 3x as scarce as the Type One. I think that this might explain the very minor weakness in some of the design elements, compared to some Type One specimens I reviewed. Nice strong Reverse, better than an average VF. Old cleaning as usual, however it was light and the color has largely recovered. Not banged up or ugly like many examples (including quite a number in certified holders). This might or might not certify today, as the services have tightened up, but certainly suitable for a nice circulated set. Due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown. 1031-13 Please Note: We require payment within four days of purchase, unless you contact us for other arrangements in advance of purchase. Items not paid for within 4 days will have an automatic unpaid item case opened - please do not make a purchase unless you intend to honor your commitment. If you have any questions, please email. Please note our hours below and if needed contact us at least 24 hours before close of listing. Buy or Bid with confidence: we have a heritage to 1937, and loads of good eBay Feedback, where I have been selling since 1997. Good Luck & Good Hunting! Tipsico Coin, Mon.- Fri. 10 AM - 4 PM MST.
