Description: This antique pitcher from the David Francis Haynes Pottery in Baltimore, Maryland, is a stunning addition to any collection. The teal and white color scheme is complemented by the gold gilt finish, creating a beautiful Victorian style piece. This original pitcher was manufactured in Baltimore in the late 1800s/early 1900s while D. F. Haynes was a lead artist and businessman in the Baltimore ceramics industry. The print on the base indicates it is in the Corsican style. The pitcher measures 6.5 inches in height and 8 inches in diameter. There is normal wear given the age of the pitcher. There are no chips or cracks on the visible portion of the pitcher. There are several small wear spots underneath the scalloped base (see pictures). There is extensive age-related crazing throughout. The gold gilt is finest on the rim of the pitcher, with wear on the handle.
