19” Dee Gann Raz Imports Design SANTA CLAUS OOAK Upcycle Vintage Victorian Toys

Description: I purchase this one of a kind upcycled Santa Claus from an eBay seller who recreated him years ago. The maker’s card, Steve and Irina, is still attached to the bottom of the Santa’s base. He was originally a Santa Claus designed by Dee Gann who makes gorgeous one of a kind Santas but this one was she designed for and reproduced by Raz Imports. Dee Gann also designed Santas for House of Hatten and Ragon House back I’m the early 2000s. She still makes her OOAK Santas and has an Open House in the Fall. So check her out at deegannsantas.com Irina (and maybe Steve) removed this Santa’s original clothing and accessories and created this precious OOAK using the face, armature and stand. I’m not sure if the bears is original but the bears is most likely wool and needs to be stored accordingly. The image insert in the last photo is a "Before" photo that Irina sent me. I think she did a fantastic job! She also upcycled other Santas in a similar style and, sadly, I no longer have her seller information and could not find her when I did a search. I love the embroidered tea towel she used for his top and the sweet accessories, especially the little hand painted bears. I don’t know if Irina or Steve painted the bears (and horse to match) or not. I will say that his clothing quality and construction is much better than the ones reproduced by Raz Imports! In vintage/displayed/stored condition so expect signs of wear, dust/dirt in crevices, minor scratches, scuffs, scrapes, paint rubs, frays, picks, fading, etc. I am selling a lot of my collectible ornaments and Santas that I have been collecting since I was child but most of my collecting began in 1993. Sadly, I no longer have the space to display most of my beautiful collection so I have to let many of them go to where they can be appreciated by another collector.
