Description: 18th Century 1700s Revolutionary War Era primitive side knife Knife is in original condition with signs of corrosion and pitting on the forged iron blade. Measuring approximately 13 1/4 ” inches in total and has a 8” inch single edged blade with a thick almost 3/8 inch spine and a 3” inch false edge. Stag antler hilt with a full hand hammered tang & raised steel pommel cap and collar counter guard and shell guard are steel as well. no visible markings see pics for more details.
