Description: 1893 Chicago World’s Fair 10” BULBOUS SATIN GLASS VASE * ADMINISTRATION BUILDING I am selling a large collection of Columbian Exposition items so please see my other listings. This listing is for an outstanding satin glass vase from the 1893 Columbian Exposition that has a colorful transfer image of The Administration Building, World’s Fair Chicago 1893. The light custard colored pink vase has a bulbous shape with maximum width 6 ¾” and it stands 10 ⅛” high. There are 2 hand-applied handles at the top and the bottom is signed Austria. The glass is nearly ¼” thick so the vase is quite substantial weighing 2 lbs. The condition is Excellent with No chips, flakes or cracks, but there is some wear to the gold trim and scuff marks.
