Description: Up for Auction is a Gorgeous 1891 Antique Royal Crown Derby highly gilded Very RARE Argyll English Bone China Plate.No cracks, chips, repairs or crazing. I can see some very fine utensil marks in the center that are almost invisible to the naked eye and would not be seen unless mentioned. I have tried my best to captureIt is fully marked and 100% authentic very fine English porcelain with 22k real gold gilding. This amazing item is so finely potted I have never seen something so thin and "Translucent" to light. Its duck egg thin and its so thin if you hold it up to even dim light you can even see the red mark thru the plate. Its awesome to just hold!. I can imagine who in 1891 was eating off of this service! A beautiful addition to any fine porcelain collection and a must for any Royal Crown Derby collector. These ARGYLL rarely come up for auction at Sotheby's and Christies and I have never seen one on ebay. you CAN see them in the RCD museum the V&A museum and in Books from John Twitchett.
