Description: Here's a beautiful amethyst big 10 1/4"tall "peanut" pattern kerosene oil lamp over 125 years old....complete with original brass collar, Queen Anne No.2 emb brass burner, wick and glass chimney. Peanut pattern around font, as well as ornate base. Beaded ring around underside of base also....This peanut pattern lamp is hand pressed in a 3 part mold...10 1/4"tall to brass threaded collar ...19 1/4" to top of chimney.....deep amethyst purple, which is the actual permanent color of the glass itself; not stained or flashed. Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean lamp with only a couple small kerosene residue spots inside. Original brass threaded collar is nice and solid....Old brass burner is emb QUEEN ANNE NO.2 on top side. Burner is in good working condition and turns the wick up and down. Original glass chimney is also in excellent condition with only a couple small nicks on bottom edge. I guarantee this antique lamp is authentic and from the late 1800s. Thick heavy glass.
