Up for Sale is an 1886 Letter from B & M Railroad President to Rufus Deering Esquire. The letter's subject is in regards to a road running over the tracks on Temple Ave in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The Letterhead shows President's Office at the Top and is also signed at the bottom. Mr. Deering belongs to a prominent Portland & Saco Maine Family with Many Timber and Lumber Interest in the State. Rufus Deering Lumber Yard in Portland closed in 2016 after 162 years in business. Another branch of the family still has a lumber yard in Saco, ME. Quite legible and measures 10 1/2" x 8". Tear at bottom left.
