Description: 1872 Indian Head Cent - Shallow N reverse - MS65RB PCGS, Photo Seal by Rick Snow. A conditional rarity, this coin was struck with the reverse of 1869. Not many are know in Mint state and this is one of the nicest. This is the Snow-13 variant that also has a neat re-punched date. A very healthy amount of red remains and this is priced at a very steep discount from a full red example that is currently on the market. The population census is inflated with re-submissions and I know of just a handful that are graded above MS64. Collectors are starting to consider both the Bold N and Shallow N variants in a complete set for 1870 (common), 1871 (rare!) and 1872 (uncommon).
