Lippincott & Co of Philadelphia. Cover has a lovely dedication to the original owner Celine L. Page and the date of February 25, 1868. Hand signed on the inside first page with the same inscription. I believe, based upon some of the other books from this same family, that they were from both Indiana and Pennsylvania, but I can't say where they were residing during this period. Has the locking mechanism which has separated from the back cover edge, though the nail/pin is still in place. Jacket: N/A or None Covers: Good Spine: Good Binding: Fine - Very tight Pages: Foxing Very Good Notable issues: Visible wear to the frong and back covers as pictures edge wear to include where the covers meet the spine. As noted in the description, the clap mechanism needs addressed. Very, very minor foxing on a few pages, beyond that some light tanning.
