Description: 1866 DOMINICAL LETTER DATERIST or PERPETUAL CALENDAR by Wm P. Banks - to 6300 AD POB#49240 TITLE: The Dominical Letter Daterist, of, A Perpetual Calendar or Almanac AUTHOR: William P. Banks, author of the Menstrual Mental Daterist. Dominico-Menstrual-Letter-Mental Daterist. PUBLISHER: Philadelphia: King & Baird DATE: 1866DESCRIPTION: 7 pages ; 23 cm CONDITION NOTES: GOOD. lacking wraps.BINDING: Pamphlet.."This is the greatest calendar to ever come before the public" A perpetual calendar that allows you to look up any date, all the way up to 6300 AD. So, unlike other 19th century calendars or almanacs you might come across in your shopping, this one still works in 2018, 19, 20, etc. etc. .Except....it doesn't. .It appears the author forgot to account for the millennial leap-day, added to alternating millennia to keep the calendar on track. That adjustment was known about in 1866, however, the calendar publisher apparently felt it unnecessarily complex for his "simple" system. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog
