Description: Here's a 7 1/4"tall, fat early pontiled hand blown glass pantry storage jar or apothecary drugstore jar from the 1860s with its original tin lid....hand blown in dip mold, so there are no mold seams....rough scratchy pontil scar on bottom....crude smooth sheared wide mouth......clear....7 1/4"tall ...7 1/2"with lid x 5 1/2"round....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean jar with no haze. Normal old wear on bottom. Original tin lid has hand soldered seam. It has a couple small holes in very top, but is solid and fits just right.
