Description: This medal looks like copper, but many online listings describe them as bronze. The medal by itself weighs 25.54 grams +/- 0.01g. The 38mm diameter medal slides in and out of the frame and stays there firmly because of its close fit. There are no hallmarks on the frame, so I don't know if it's silver or silver-plate, but it polishes like silver so it is at least silver-plate. This was won by my father or grandfather, so I estimate it is from the early or mid-20th century. I am not a coin grader.
