Description: Here's a dark green Liberty Eagle Willington Glass Co half pint historical flask from the Civil War era of the 1860s. I believe this is grouped by McKearin as GII-63..... LIBERTY bold emb above a large eagle & wreath on front....WILLINGTON GLASS CO WEST WILLINGTON CONN (boldly emb on back) ....Hand blown in mold, bimal....early flat smooth base.....drippy applied double ring collar....olive green....oval flask with rounded sides....6 1/2"tall... half pint size....An attic flask; it has a small natural potstone on inside surface with a couple small hairline cracks radiating from it; no other damage. A nice clean flask. Someone put 4 felt pads on bottom for stability.....The potstone is from when it was made, so the small hairline "legs" have not run....
