Description: This is a lovely very rare circulated brown 1859 Queen Victoria Large Canadian penny with a narrow 9. The numeral 1 has been double-struck. The numeral 5 has also been double-struck and is noted as Variety 2 on the "Coins and Canada" site. There is a die-crack on the obverse of the coin running through the letter G in the word REGINA and three of the stems connecting the grape leaves to the vine are missing.
