Description: This beautifully engraved Banknote was issued by The South Royalton Bank of South Royalton, Vermont. The bank operated from 1852 until it failed in 1857. Virtually all notes other than rare proofs exist with punch cancellations. The note was engraved by the American Bank Note Company of New York in conjunction with Jocelyn, Draper, Welsh & Co.
