Description: This is an early Pittsburgh Pillar Mold hand blown glass creamer from the mid 1800s....only 3 1/2"tall....hand blown in mold with 8 large protruding ribs around the creamer....pour spout rim....crude applied glass handle...ground/polished pontil base...clear flint glass...Excellent condition with no chips or damage. Bottom edge of handle appears to have been buffed/polished to remove sharp burr of glass possibly when it was made?
