Collated, with thirty-four plates to volume I, with four absent. With thirty-six plates to volume II, with six missing. With thirty-nine plates to volume III, and one plate absent.The second work present consists of illustrations related to Scott's poetical works, in the scarce first edition of 1834. with forty plates from numerous artists, including Augustus Pugin and J. M. W. Turner. Collated, complete.With the armorial bookplate of Edward Moore to the front pastedowns. CONDITION In the original half calf bindings with paper covered boards. Extensive rubbing to spine heads and tails, with bumping to extremities. Some rubbing to each joint, most concentrated to volume III. Bookplate to each front pastedown. Front endpapers absent to volumes II and III, with tears to rear endpapers of volume I and III. Front and rear hinges starting but holding firm to each volume. Internally, generally firmly bound. Some spotting to each volumes, most concentrated to plate perimeters.
