Free Shipping on Purchases of 5 or More Maps and Prints Description: It is an original copper engraved antique map over 187 years old with original handcolor outlining as issued. It is from An Atlas Accompanying Worcester's Epitome of Geography, published in Boston by Hilliard, Gray & Co., 1828. A copy of the original title page with the date is included for authenticity. The map was engraved by H. [Hazen] Morse as stated in small print in the bottom margin. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the main pic. Size: The map image measures approximately 5 1/2 by 6 3/4 inches on a 6 3/4 by 8" (17x20cm) page. Condition: The map is in Fair condition for its age with overall tonal ageing, printed on a heavy page, blank on the reverse with handcoloring. It is cropped tight on the left, a few light spots, rounded corners and general wear around the edges, see the pics for more on condition. Otherwise it is fairly clean on strong paper with a nice antique patina that would frame up well. The pics are of the actual map and accurate of its condition.
