Description: 1820 - 1840 Antique Chinese Temple Box. This piece comes from the Estate of an avid collector. The 2 piece box measures 13” x 9” x 7” and weighs 4lbs 6oz. before packing. It has elaborate carvings on all sides of each piece. The top comes off to reveal a sectioned platform inside. There are a few condition issues. One dragon on base is missing a toe, there is some minor paint flake on top, two corners have a ding and the Chinese marks on the bottom have been scratched (I do not know why).
