It is from an English edition of Le Sage's Historical, Genealogical, Chronological and Geographical Atlas, published by Gold & Co., Soho Square, London, 1818, a copy of the title page is included, see the pics. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as seen in the pics. A great map for the scholar with lots of interesting detail that could be used in publications, the copyrights have long expired. Size: The image area measures approximately 14 1/2 by 17 inches (37x43cm) on a 19 1/2 by 28 1/2" page (50x73cm). It is a very large map! Condition: Good or better for its age with original hand coloring and a centerfold as issued, printed on very strong hand laid cotton paper with deckled edges. There is wear and handling around the deckled edges and margins as expected, a few random light spots, and some very minor cockling. Overall, it is fairly clean with a strong impression and vibrant color, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map. Shipping: We only charge one nominal shipping fee and do combine additional maps at no extra costs and gladly refund extra shipping when purchased individually and shipped together. For multiple purchases it is best to use the ebay cart system which will automatically calculate the correct shipping when multiple maps are purchased at once and there is free US domestic shipping on 5 or more maps. International rates apply elsewhere. The map is placed in a plastic sleeve, anchored to stiff brown paper to prevent edge damage, and shipped in a heavy duty shipping tube. International Shipping: We ship insured through the ebay International shipping program. Due to insurance reasons we do not ship to International PO boxes, third party addresses nor countries that ebay does not ship to. We can only ship to the ebay address used at the time of purchase.
