Description: I have here for sale a book entitled THE ANNUAL REGISTER or a View of the History, Politics and Literature for the Year 1806. Published that year by F C and J Rivington, London. In this volume there is an account of Capture of the Cape of Good Hope by the British, Voyage to Cochin-China by John Barrow, Napoleon Bonaparte's Proclaration to the French Army and the People of Vienna, the Treaty of Presburg. The book is divided into different sections - History of Europe, Chronicle, Appendix to the Chronicle, State Papers, Characters (biographies), Natural History, Useful Projects, Antiquities, Miscellaneous Essays, Poetry, Account of Books published.Bound in light blue paper hardboards with a white paper spine. Both boards are detached and a lot of the spine cover is missing. Binding very loose. The first 288 pages are almost detached in a block. Pages relatively clean but fore-edges are darkened and a little creased. 344 and 912 pages + contents pages. 23 x 14 cm.We have over 2000 items in our Ebay shop on a range of subjects, so please feel free to have a browse and see if anything else takes your fancy.
