Description: This is an amazing watercolor still life with the kettle that was painted included! The card on the back shows that the artist is Eloise Heyl and it was gifted to a friend around 1964. The kettle is marked “I.Dunn” attributed to John Dunn & Sons, NY, and is dovetailed. I’ve found a very similar kettle on Kovels.com that was priced in 2016 for $369 and was dated 1831. This kettle is believed to also be dated in the early to mid 1800s, but please examine this for yourself.
