The fractional sheet was unissued and someone decided to save the earlier $4 note instead of the fractionals resulting in this early note with Civil War era notes printed on the back. This note features a Vignette of Archimedes lifting the world with a lever, flanked by "4" counters. Benjamin Franklin is printed on the far left and George Washington on the far right.This note grades About Uncirculated with light handling. It measures ~ 6.75" x 2.75".
