Description: This interesting folding map by Cornelius Paas is published by Russell & Allen, Manchester, England, c.1800. Cornelius Paas (1740?-1806) and his sons, also Cornelius (born c.1785; fl. 1808, probably died 1811) and John (1790-1832) were engravers and printers. Born in Germany, he settled in London about 1765. Appointed engraver to King George III about 1788. The map is printed on one side only and measures 30 cm x 22 cm or 12" x 8".
