Description: A lot with 17 pieces of ultra rare TURQUOISE beach combed sea glass from the Pacific Northwest; this group represents most of my remaining pieces of this color.. from a 50-year odyssey of beach combing. These are generally in small to medium sizes, in a variety of hues. Turquoise is almost as rare as orange and has a beautiful "brightness" you don't see in other shades of blue. These likely came from old mineral water, seltzer and tonic bottles. It's time for them to find a new home... either in a collection, or maybe in mosaics or some other creative endeavor? Whereas these ARE frosted, pretty much all have inclusions, faults, or a chipped corner/edge... mosaic quality. These have almost all been found here in the Pacific Northwest, many from Port Townsend's now "played out" Glass Beach... this is the end of the road, and I am selling my remaining sea glass now, rather than leaving the kids to deal with it later! Condition, etc.: Pieces are in generally frosted condition with flaws running from minor to a shiny edge or dark inclusion. Variety of mostly smaller sizes measuring from about 5/16" (7mm) long to just under 5/8" (16mm) long. Fairly presentable group of extremely rare sea glass! Please check all the photos! I try to give an impression of both SIZE (glass is pictured with a US Dime for scale reference) and QUALITY (large, clear close-up images) so you can clearly see what you are buying.
