Description: A 16mm slim feature film from 1933 entitled "Before Dawn" by RKO Pictures and starring Stuart Erwin. Dying gangster Joe Valerie reveals the hiding place of a million dollars in loot to his physician Dr. Cornelius. The sinister Austrian doctor has designs on the money, but must first outwit detective Dwight Wilson and clairvoyant Patricia Merrick. The setting is an eerie, possibly haunted house in small-town America where the stash is hidden and the bodies begin to accumulate. There is about 2200ft in total here giving a run of about 61mins. The published time is 60mins so this looks about right. The film stock looks to be Kodak Safety. I have run the first couple of minutes of each reel on a projector without problems. This is old film so will have scratches, lines, splices and other evidence of being old film.
