Description: A 16mm slim feature film from 1939 entitled "Mystery of the White Room" by Crime Club Productions and starring Bruce Cabbot In the middle of an eye-surgery operation in a large hospital, the lights in the operating room go out and the chief surgeon is murdered. It is the job of Police-Detective Spencer to figure out who in the room had something to gain from his death. There is about 2200ft in total here giving a run of about 61mins. The published time is 58mins so this looks about right. The film stock looks to be AGFA. I have run the first couple of minutes of each reel on a projector. Reel one seems seemed sticky to me, so it might need a clean/lubricant or the film stock doesn't sit well with my projector gate (which can be a bit stern). I spliced out 1ft from the titles due to sprocket damage on reel 1. This is old film so will have scratches, lines, splices and other evidence of being old film. Please see the video to get some idea of the optical condition. Thanks for looking. FREEPOST to the UK (969)
