Description: All right you guys... This is a listing for a 164th scale DCP Peterbilt 379 with roll tarp trailer that has been modified to look almost identical to the totally badass DSD transport truck called "High Maintenance" that was built by Don Wood This is NOT the factory DCP run that was just released This truck is built to order. Please read the listing so that you're ready to choose which option you'd like Takes me about 30 days to get one of these done I take a Peterbilt 379 and I strip it down to bare metal. Then I stretch the frame to have the proper matching length as the real truck. I Custom build the grill with the proper Grill face and single square headlights. The hood is shaved smooth and the front fenders are extended as well as the backside of the hood on the bottom. The front wheels are from CanadaDakota. The front suspension is removed and the truck does not steer as it sits in these pictures, that's the quickest way to get her to sit this low like it's aired out at a show*** but I can also build the truck for you just a little bit higher off the ground so that it can still steer if you would like. This is one reason why these trucks are built to order I build the front bumper out of stainless and leave the protective plastic piece on for you to peel off when it gets to you. ***Make sure you let me know if you want the hood to open or would rather have a tighter fitting bumper(. In order for the hood to open it needs to be a slightly larger Gap between the bottom of the hood and the top of the bumper. Yet another reason these are built to order.) The firewall is shaved and painted to match with the same stripe pattern. The cab is also smoothed and completely shaved. I hand make the visor out of stainless The roof lights are bullet lights from Boone Forks I modify the side view mirrors to have less supports and look more like the real truck. The cab also has the filler panels Custom designed to match battery boxes that have the DSD transport logo on them and the proper DOT number. The 48-in bunk is something that I design and print along with the fuel tanks that match the real truck perfectly. And of course we we have the "don't be braggin if it ain't draggin" logo We have the proper show bar and suspension mounts and fenders and t-bar to duplicate the original truck. Now let's move into the trailer. I don't know if you can see in the picture. But I take the entire bottom of the trailer and I fill all of the gaps and I stretch the frame down low to replicate the Mac Style. I use the identical showbars in front and behind every trailer axle and the rear end of the trailer has been redesigned to look exactly the way the Mac does. And of course we have to have a front lift axle. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about this truck, or even if you just want a truck built for yourself. If you've read through all of this. You must actually be interested Look forward to hearing from you guys and hopefully somebody ends up with an exact replica of the DSD truck
