Description: 1602 Geneva New Testament Appears to be Herbert #272 which is apparently the first edition of the Geneva New Testament in which Junius' Revelation replaces Tomson's version. Geneva Bibles are rare in any condition, but to find one in an original binding in good condition is very rare! This copy appears to either be in the original leather binding or a very early binding with a little wear, but amazingly good condition considering the age. This copy should obviously be handled carefully, but the hinges still feel quite strong despite a little bit of wear. Title page has had a repair that is more obvious on the back side. The title page for the Book of Psalms at rear (dated 1606) has been damaged due to spilled ink. It's hard to tell if the marbled endsheets are original or a very early replacement. Overall an unusually well preserved copy of a very rare printing! Measures about 6.5" x 4.25" and a little over 1.25" thick. Please review pictures for a better idea of the condition. I carefully package all of my books to ensure that they remain safe during shipping. Check out my other book and Bible listings! I may have more like this one that you would be interested in!
