16" Vtg Cloth Stockinette Engel-Puppe Germany Folk Art Doll Pair Tags Lederhosen

Description: From my collection: I bought them many years ago; they have been displayed away from heat and sun in my doll room, but have never been undressed or played with. 16.5-inch vintage stockinette pair of dolls with molded faces, made in Germany by Helmuth Engel (Engel Puppe) of Coburger, Germany circa 1982. They were imported to the USA by Kathy Ann Dolls Imports as per their wrist tags. Head: Molded painted stockinette faces with brown eyes, blushed cheeks, brown wigs. Brother wears brown leatherette lederhosen with dark green pullover sweater and has a brick-red back pack. He has white knit socks and brown tie shoes. He has a label on his arm that reads, Karin Serie, Imports by Kathy Ann Dolls. He also has his Engel-Puppe, Kathy Ann wrist tag. Sister wears brown print skirt, ecru blouse, brown floral pinafore, ecru pantaloons, white knit socks and camel-tan tie shoes with paper tag on the bottom of one shoe that says, Made in Germany. She has a braided wig with braids. The rubber bands have broken down from age and are no longer on the braids. She also has a Engel-Puppe wrist tag in a separate bag with the history of Engel-Puppe dolls that began in 1976. No returns please unless I have somehow misrepresented the pair in my description.
