Description: Each pack contains 15 seeds from our variegated kumquat tree. This tree is unique because the leaves and fruit are both variegated with wonderful streaks of yellow and green. Growing from seeds can produce different results from the parent plant, but these fruits are very much like what we called tangeine limes in Belize. They are more sour than traditional orange kumquats, but they have great flavor. They are perfect for making lemonade with about 6 fruits per half gallon of water and some sugar. They are excellent for making salad dressings and pretty much anything else you would use limes for. Kimquats have a very thin skin with little pith, and it is the only citrus whose skin you can eat.
