The insect's body is set with 17 blue sapphires approximately .04 - .05 ct each for a total of about .60ctw in sapphires. There are diamonds set within the back which add an additional .05 ctw for a total of about .65 ctw in this piece. It has textured wings, and is quite solid for a small piece. You could also string it on a chain to use as a pendant, if you so desired. This flying insect pendant / pin measures 3/4" long. It is hallmarked 14k and weighs 3.4 grams.
