Description: An old style look i am not sure the ring is actually that old. Bought in an estate auction they called it Ruby it does test as sapphire so appears to be a natural stone. Not a jeweler but it does look like a pretty good stone and good size as well. one of the prongs is broken, the stone feels secure but you would probably want to at least have that looked at by a professional. couple breaks in the filagree i personally would repair those not very noticeable. it is signed something like JW but i cant make it out. overall it looks like a pretty nice stone/ring to me. below are the measurements from the auction.
