Description: This SALE is for an antique GORDON BATTERY Co. Glass Railroad battery jar with a porcelain lid. The lid is marked 'NEW YORK' and I THINK its date is NOV. 1902 (see pictures). I added a porcelain knob which is easily removed. I don't know if the lid is original to the jar, but it was with it when I bought it. The jar is marked MADE IN U.S.A. 9B J4 CORNING. The jar has 2 indented handles for lifting the jar. Both the jar & the lid appear to be in very good condition. Refer to my pictures for more details. Your jar will be packed very carefully.
