1/125 Gouda Dutch Man-O-War Sailing Ship Lindberg #204 Shrink Wrapped MISB

Description: I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. Lindberg Models was one of the classic model companies in the US before the market shrank and was taken over by excellent and innovative overseas players. This is the classic kit of the Gouda, a 40 gun Dutch Man-O-War or armed merchant ship. Pyro created the kit back in 1967, but Lifelike reissued it in the 70s and Lindberg has released every decade since 1990. There are typically about a dozen of these on eBay at any one time, but it is rare to find one listed by a Top Rated Plus US Seller, such as myself. I have this in stock and can reliably ship this very quickly. Here is some of the info I found from around the web: The Round 2 company has picked up the Lindberg line, along with several notable others (like MPC, AMT and Polar Lights). The page on the Round 2 site has the superb box art and a short blurb about the kit: Lindberg is proud to release a finely crafted model of the Gouda sailing ship, a two-decker warship used during the First Anglo-Dutch War. Our kit is 14” long and contains 288 parts! It’s a must-have for any model shipbuilder. § 1:125 scale§ Skill level 3 Tim Reynaga prepared a First Look Review on the kitmaker.net site where he simply introduces the new release and gives us a half-dozen photos of the sprues and hull pieces, along with a finished painted model. He notes that: “While the real Gouda was a Dutch third rate ship of the line, the model has a hull that looks more like an armed merchantman, but it also has lots of attractive details and looks to be simple to assemble.” Scalemates.com has a listing that shows this is a 2014 release that is a reboxing of the classic Pyro kit from 1967. There is a huge shot of the box art but nothing to let you know what is inside the box. This kit is in a large, well-decorated box about 16” x 12” x 3”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with the original shrink wrap, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with over 280 plastic parts. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown.
