Buck & Ball Percussion Ammo Box - Green (Olive Drab) Wood Box - Civil War. 16 1/2" long x 12 1/4" wide x 8" Tall as per the original box. 18" long with handles and 6 3/8" tall inside storage area. This is a copy of an original Ammo Box as the last photo shows. The box color may appear a different color green depending on your computer screen. This is a professionally handmade box, made out of pine using reproduction plans from original plans. The box has dovetail joinery. This box is professionally constructed using glued and clamed joints and then nailed together with period looking exposed cut nails. This gives the box the period nailed look. The box is hand stenciled using a reproduction stencil of the original stencils of the time (see the original box). We can also put any stencil you would like on the box and we can paint the box any color you would like such as period red or blue. This is a nice professionally handcrafted box. This is a must for the reenactor who wants to carry his or her small equipment in a nice period looking Ammo box.
