Description: Offered for sale is one (1) nice Original Sprague .022mfd 400v PIO Bumble Bee Capacitor. Measures .037 according to my Sencore LC75. It’s rare to find PIO Bumble bees that have drifted this little in value! It has nice length original leads. This cap will work in a guitar tone-circuit, but due to having DC leakage will NOT work at it’s rated voltage (as used in a tube amp circuit). Listed as for parts or not working and Sold As Is due to it’s vintage condition. Note: for those measuring caps with a DMM, my Fluke DMM shows this cap as measuring quite a bit higher around .085 but I have displayed the LC75 results in this listing since it’s a calibrated purpose-built device for analyzing capacitors to a high level of accuracy.
