Although this filter is washable, you may want to have a second filter on hand to use while one is drying. The filter is located inside the top of the dust bin. Remove the dust bin assembly from the vacuum cleaner and twist the lid/handle to expose the primary filter. Pull the tab on the filter to remove it. Rinse the filter under warm water until it is no longer visibly dirty. Allow the filter to air dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling it into your vacuum for use. Measurements: 5 3/4 inch approximate diameter with one flat edge.
