It is essential that the surface is sound, dry, and free of all wax, oil, grease, and loose materials. You must remove all grease, oil, and other contaminants from the surface. Do not leave any residue behind. Clean the surface thoroughly with a commercial degreaser, such as Tuff Coat Cleaner & Degreaser and a scrub brush. After the surface has been scrubbed with a degreaser, rinse well with a steady stream of water. Allow to dry. (NOTE: DO NOT use solvent-based products for cleaning purposes.) UT-80 ADHESION PRIMERis a 2 component water-based epoxy primer/sealer that can be used on concrete, wood, fiberglass, and previously painted surfaces to promote adhesion between the substrate and Tuff Coat. UT-80 Adhesion Primer can be applied to damp concrete surfaces following proper application procedures.
