The crossmember is located between the rear wheel tubs. It should be mounted through the trunk floorpan to provide additional shock travel when ride height is lower than stock. This C-section crossmember is made from 1/8" steel. It adds additional structural integrity to the rear subframe and provides the necessary mounting for inboard upper shock mounts.
